Perhaps one of the first mainstream surreal puzzle/"exploration" games it is a blast to play.

The Bottom Line:
"Old-school"
I remember when this first came out and how much fun it was to play this game that ran on the Hypercard "engine". Perhaps not the first click and solve puzzle games but one of the best. This game which was Originally released by Cyan Studios is an important lesson in level design and surreal game storyline that few others had attempted before. From this humble game it is easy to see the founding genius behind the creator's next game "Myst". The level of detail and humor is surprising and is very much at the core of the gaming experience. I still have my original copy and keep my old powerpc around specifically to play this game. It was the first game I ever bought and while there may be bigger and better games out there this will always hold a place in my heart. If you have an old mac OS emulator I highly suggest tracking down this game as you can see the lineage of puzzle games that this has spawned.
