Contra 3 a Classic game. Great Graphics for time it was made. Fun Gameplay. But Very Difficult.
The stories on SNES were basically nonexistent. Once you beat the game it simply bumbs you up to an even harder difficulty, and the game starts over again, tell u beat it on the hardest difficulty. Where you get a barely longer cutscene, which you can You Tube if you really want to see. A big problem I had with SNES games is once you beat games you don't get the payoff you do story wise that you do with newer games, all you get is the satisfaction of beating the game, which I hope is enough for you.
Gameplay is fun-
It is really fun to go around blasting everything with these crazy guns. This game really does stand up to the current era of games today. Crazy bosses, and different levels, some from bird's eye view, some side-scrolling levels, very interesting to see a game take two drastically different playing mechanics.
Also I played this game by myself, but with a friend this game really would be a lot of fun.
Graphics are great considering time-
No complaint with the look of the game, very nice looking.
Too Difficult-
I played this on my SNES emulator on PC. I must say this game is very difficult. I don't know who in their right mind could beat this game without cheating. On my emulator I saved every few seconds and every time I died I reloaded. I had to do that every few seconds step by step in order to beat this game. I also played the hard parts of the game on 50% speed of what the original is. And I beat the game in about 2 hours or so. Mind you this was on my emulator on PC, on the Wii, were u can't use those fancy cheats I described, you have no chance of beating this game. This game is too difficult, so have fun and download, but don't expect to get far.
