Contra delivers.

Contra has a history of making amazing games.I've played almost all the Contra games out there, and I've instantly loved them. When I saw how many people gave this game a bad review,it made me want to cry. Here's why everyone is giving this game bad reviews.Contra Advance took out a few levels from Contra 3,and replaced them with levels from Contra Hard Corps for the Sega Genesis. Most people said things like,"I wanted to play Contra 3,not Contra Hard Corps!" I thought they were crazy. If they really wanted to play Contra 3,then they could have just gone out, found an SNES,then found Contra 3,and bought it instead of making this game seem bad.Besides, the levels they replaced sucked, anyways. They were overhead views of the level, and you'd try to find your way to the end. There were lots of places where you could fall and die,and there were little sand tornados that made you spin like crazy! Those levels were just frustrating,so I was glad to find out those levels are gone!A nice feature in this game is your standard weapon is a machine gun,so you don't have to find one. Also, the game is very forgiving on novice mode.On novice mode, you have 7 lives, and 10 continues. That's a total of 70 lives!Woah. This game is password operated, not saved, which is a bummer, but at the same time,a relief.Sure, you have to save your password somewhere were you won't lose it,but you can look up cheats so you have 99 lives. That's a plus in my book. The final verdict: a great game for all fans of the Contra series, but beware, the levels are not easy.
