One of the best games ever I'd say.

This is, in my opinion, as close as a game developer has come to making a perfect game. I say that mostly in Bad Fur Day's sense, but this game is still a masterpiece. For the original XBox game, the graphics are sublime. Very pretty, a thrill to look at. However, as great as they look, it's almost an awkward blend of realistic and cartoon. Bad Fur Day also had great graphics for its time, probably the best on the N64, but it was cartoony. This one, it's very apparent that they wanted to deliver bigger, better, and realistic graphics, but with this game, maybe it didn't work as good as it would have with another game. But, still very eye-pleasing. The gameplay and adventuring is still very great. It's nice that we're introduced to more fighting with more enemies around the playing fields, and a nice weapon equipping button, but, they only added one enemy, the rest are the armored imps, which appear in almost every area. It felt a little added in at the last second. Not by much though. Some things that were executed very well in Bad Fur Day were a little crippled during the transition because Rare tried to incorporate the extra control stick and triggers. Not terrible, but maybe a little hard to get use to. Now, one thing that I didn't like, but was till okay with was the additions. Or lack there of. With a remake, one typically expects things to be added or some sort of special content. It really wasn't much different from its N64 counterpart. The times that were big changes though were mainly in the Spooky and War chapter. They were sort of gimmicky unexpected changes, or visual touches. That, or things were changed that were fine the way they were. Overall, not as good as the N64 version, but not by much. If little nit-picky things bother you, you may want to just get the N64 cartridge, but if you have the XBox version, don't think you're missing out on the other version. You can't go wrong with Conker.
