Fair graphics and unique ideas are good enough to put it on the map.

User Rating: 8 | Conflict: Vietnam PS2
Conflict: Vietnam is an overall fair game. With decent graphics and some really unique ideas, such as your player walking around a camp and socializing with other troops, fighting alongside friendly troops, and language and gore to spice up the reality of the game, all of which were restricted in the old conflict games. But the game has a key weakness, gameplay, which is probably the weakest point of all the conflict games. It starts out really fun but soon seems to be similar and may almost appear as though you are doing the same thing over and over again. Still, it is a much needed improvement on a dying series.
