This 3rd game in the series is the worst of the bunch.

I'll start off by saying I loved the first game, I kind of liked the second game, and now I can't stand this third installment. The engine that this is built on is really made for the first game's wide open spaces, not the tight corridors and confined spaces of this third game. The levels themselves are quite large, it's just the path you are guided through taking is very narrow - every level was a "sewer-level" to me. And of course, the game is very tough, you die a lot. Even moving very slowly, you still come across traps that cannot be foreseen, and you are dead. The biggest fun-killer is they still stick with only 2 saves allowed per level. They can be anywhere you want, but why only two? Why do they think replaying the slowly paced same 30 minutes over again will be fun for me? It's NOT! Basically - between the frustratingly limited save system, the unbelievably dumb AI, the series horrible controls, and the too restricted levels, all forced me to give up on this game at about the 2/3rds mark. I guess there is something addicting about it that I played that long, but eventually I had enough. Since I liked the first game in the series so much, I paid $50 when this first came out before the reviews - I wish I would have waiting and saved my money! If you liked the first 2 games, it might be worth $10-$15, but if you hated the first 2 games, you'll really hate this one. (PS: The sound was good but mixed totally wrong - I could never understand what my guys were saying, but the explosions rocked my house)
