Very creepy first person shooter which keeps under constant tension. Should be more games like this one.

Condemned: Criminal Origins is one of the first titles for the xbox 360. It is also one of the first such creepy and great games for this console. This first person shooter is very interesting and has really good story. What is more, its scary atmosphere keeps you under constant tension which is a absolutely briliant feeling.
The story takes place in USA. We play as FBI agent Ethan Thomas who deals with criminal cases such as murders. One day he was called to investigate a vicious murder case of a serial killer. From now on, he is on his own.
The world of Condemned is exactly the same as the one in Fear games which means that there will be many strange and creepy things appearing. Our enemies are mostly psychopaths whose behavior shows that they are under influence of some kind of strange substance (not only narcotics and alkohol). As an FBI agent we will have guns to use, but there is hard to find ammunition so in order to survive Ethan will use objects like pipes, sticks, axes and etc. All the places we visit are interesting and filled with scary and shocking moments. There are things which need to be investigated if we want to find more clues about the serial killer. Overall, the gameplay keeps you entertained all the time because of the whole creepy and very climatic atmosphere. Condemned: Criminal Origins is a true horror first person shooter.
The graphics are nice, of course it is not as good as nowadays games have, but we need to remember that Condemned was released in 2005. Although it has pretty good character animation and some environment elements.
The music in the game is very climatic as well and just like in all horror movies or games, it also keeps you under tension which is brilliant. The voice over is good and sounds professional.
All in all, Condemned: Criminal Origins for the xbox 360 is a very scary and shocking fps which will make you feel like it was an interactive horror movie. There should be more games like this one.
