Red Alert is the ultimately gold medal within the RTS world.
The gameplay in this game is so brilliant (of course in a 1996-perspective). Cool campaigns, amazing storyline and a well-made scenario plus multiplayer part. This was the revolution of the RTS-games and still, in 2009, 13 years later I'll always remind myself how awesome this game was and still is!
It just offered so much. You could play as the offensive player attacking pretty much nonstop or be the defensive placing an endless amount of tesla coils to remove everything in it's sight.
If you love RTS-games and haven't played this yet, I highly recommend you to try it out and imagine how awesome this was in the mid 90's.
And when you still can walk around and hum the melodies from the game 13 years later, it must have had an affect on you! This game is the one standing on the very top when medals was given out. Gold, ladies and gentlemen. Pure gold.
