R.I.P red alert I will bury you next to C&C4 I hope EA goes under for these abominations they call games.
They do have a few good games under their belts but nothing epic like (starcraft, Diablo, Quake1, 2, Blood, Summoner, Hexen1, 2 …..etc)
The small creative companies are dying and I don't know why?? They had successful games so logic says they should stay alive! But instead they get bought by soulless companies like EA,
Anyway about red alert 3…. What a piece of garbage, kidy cartoonish graphics, and rushy click fest, no strategy what so ever.
Ok so let's make the "list"
The good:
1-Nice music
2-cheezy acting :)
3- Nice start menu design.
THE HORROR:
1-No strategy
2- Bad unit design (why the **** does the attack chopper freeze and miniaturizes **** what the **** happened to rockets and machine guns!!!!!!1111111)
3- Soviets are portrayed as sissy cowards (unit shatter wth); Well news flash the cold war is OVER you can cut the propaganda **** now. The allies used to bomb civilians too in WW2 so plz let's get over our horrible past and get over ourselves …. OK!!!
4- the game is TOO FAST and it's a zerg fest; just make more units and win, but remember to be REALLY FAST, what a juvenile concept to make a strategy game with.
5- Bad game play I uninstalled the game after a few missions.
6- Tried skirmish…. It was worst, it needs you to be a very fast clicker and not in a good way.
The developers at EA are obviously abusing their power, and they all have some childhood psychological complex that makes them think everyone are 30 year old guys with a brain of a high school kid. I can see it now; a bunch of grown up men drinking, smoking, objectifying their women, and thinking they are the jewels of mankind's artistic elite.
Thank God I didn't buy this game, because although I do follow the rules; most of the time; I'm not some sucker to be taken for a fool, and I wouldn't spend a single cent on this garbage.
What I fear my fellow gamers is what will happen to mass effect 3?? Will EA make the smart choice and let Boiware "make the game", and EA will just "pay" the bills, or will the supreme team of developers and sons (and secret lovers who **** their way up the corporate ladder) take over and kill yet another franchise.
Anyway my advice boycott EA don't buy this game don't buy C&C4 and I hope all that money EA dumps on gamespot helps their reviews the next time they make a piece of crap and call it a game.
P.S. The 2 score is for the music and actors and menu designers. you did a good job well done,I mean it.
