This was my first RTS overhead game that I played - and it was awesome. While not perfect, it offered a lot.
Yes, the cutscenes were pretty cheesy but for the time I suppose they were OK - at least they have girls with low cut shirts - those easy soviet women I tell ya.
The gameplay was super fun and challenging and you always felt like you had 100 things to do.
With that said - I never felt like I was reaching the full potential of the game - I hardly ever developed high tier things before the skirmish was over.
This game is a must play for anyone who loves real time strategy games - and obviously this game is leaps and bounds better than any turn based game of similar design.
The best part of this game as I have seen every type of person play it - preppy girls to extreme dorks there seems to be something for everyone.
Enjoy this - cuz it doesnt get a lot better than this for the genre.
