Command and Conquer 4 will take you through the ending of the Tiberium saga with a poorly put together story. Command and Conquer 3: Tiberum Wars was very planned out and plotted correctly with the story. It was a challenging story and was also a very satisfying story. Command and Conquer 4 is not like this, it was not long in development which showed right there that it wasn't plotted out correctly, but we, the community still had hopes it would be good despite this. From everything EA released about Command and Conquer 4 we thought the game was going to be purely epic, it wasn't going to be a failure like Red Alert 3 comic based engine.
Then EA released the open beta and again we, the community found the game to not be satisfying at all, in fact we found it to be stomach churning. The Command and Conquer we knew and loved was gone and ripped from our hands. Why you may ask? Well here is why.
In Command and Conquer 4 you no longer have a official base, you get a crawler. The Crawler is a mobile base that can only construct five units at a time with a total of twelve units based on the population cap. Yes, I said population cap, you probably guessed already now that I said that that there is a population cap. The population cap was very disappointing. We can no longer really have a all-out battle to counter the enemies build order.
The crawler can walk anywhere on the map with no restrictions besides the occasional rock in its way. Which shows the unit pathing is horrible and not created correctly. The gameplay is just in general not good at all, you really need to experience it for yourself to see what I am talking about.
The graphics are horrible compared to Command and Conquer 3's outstanding graphics. You may call me one who does not like change, in fact I do like change, but this is just ridiculous. In my personal opinion the NOD crawler looks like a kids lady bug toy. You'll be able to see for yourself once you pick up the game or search images on google.
The game isn't worth its $39.99 and its $49.99 originally from the poor development. I would suggest whoever is reading this to not buy the game, but it's really all based upon you.
The game is horrible compared to the rest of the series.

This is one of the worst command and conquer titles I want to build bases rather than run and gun. Disappointing
