As the last command and conquer of the Tiberium series, this final addition was a mess of bad ideas stuck together.

Base building was the biggest portion in the CNC RTS games. The new "crawler" addition to this game ruined most of the game play for myself. This type of style is very different and could be viewed as a fun way to play but, it should not have been used as a conclusion to the series. Base building and tiberium collection was the biggest, most exciting, and intense ways to play the previous CNC games.
As per example of a video me and 2 friends made on the 360 version of CNC3. The video was removed on youtube because of copyright problems but here is a sample of what it looked like (its the same video, you don't actually get to see the whole thing...) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pvhQ1M_zQGk&feature=fvw. In the end everyone was killed, it killed all of my allies, each other the computer's building until there was one left in which it was killed at the same time as my final unit.
So besides the game play portion, the multiplayer was a bit messed up as well. If you didn't take the time to play the campaign multiple times on each side to achieve level 20, you wont stand much chance against fellow level 20 players. This rule applied with the single player as well. A few of the NOD missions are incredible difficult without a high level in their faction or another player to help you out.
This game is clearly meant for co-op highly organized groups of friends to play together. This is the way to perfect any disadvantages and a highly organized team will be close to if not impossible to defeat in any aspect. One of the biggest reasons for this is because of the low unit cap and the incredibly fast rate in which you can rebuild your army.
There are a lot of things I have left out and while almost all of what I have said has been bad, the one part in the game in which I enjoyed was the story line. I wont add very much about that in this section because of two reasons. One, you have to watch it to find out why it was very good, and two, because I don't want to spoil anything. In my opinion, I believe that it IS POSSIBLE for there to be another game in the Tiberium series. Although, I had only bought this game for the story line and as I expected, that was really the only part I enjoyed and if another game is made in this series in the same way this one was, I will only buy that one for the story line as well.
Overall, I would say it's only a good buy if you are a HUGE command and conquer fanatic like myself, and know a bunch of your friends who are willing to purchase and play with you as well.
