Columns:

Columns is a puzzle game. Your objective is to line up columns of gems in rows of the matching gems. You clear lines by matching up the gems by color. Line up the same color of gems horizontally, vertically, or diagonally in order to make them disappear. There are 7 different gems; red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, and white. Align the gems to gain points and try to create chains/combination clearings of gems in order to gain more points. As you gain more points, the level (aka difficulty) gets higher and the columns will drop faster. If the board fills up with columns it is game over. There are 3 major modes in Columns; Arcade, Flash, Original, and doubles can be played in Flash and Original game. In arcade mode, try to score the most points to be in the top ten high scores for arcade mode. You can play arcade mode with a friend and see who can get the higher score. In original game, you get to create your own unique column game. In this mode you can set the class, music, and if you want to have a time trial to see how many points you can score within the time limit. In flash columns, you must clear a specific set of lines in order to get rid of the special gem in order to complete the stage. Just like in original, you can set the class, music, and the height of the columns in place on the board. This mode tests to see how long it takes you to get through the rows of columns and clear the special gem from the board. This mode is more like a race to see how fast you can do it. Doubles mode is available in Original and Flash Columns but not in Arcade mode. Doubles mode is a co-op game in which 2 players will alternate control of the gems.

How To Play:
