This was one of the first games where the main aim of the game was to beat the clock. With that in mind I think it did it very well. With many tracks to pick from across several country's including Australia, Greece and Sweden Colin McRae Rally requires the utmost in practice, skill, and knowledge of one tracks to succeed. Each courses is totally different each requiring a different set up and set of driving skills. Players have a small list of cars to choose from initially but can open up new ones as they win. Colin McRae Rally is a skill based game that's deep, challenging, and varied.
