If you like a good modern shooter then I reccomend this game to you!

User Rating: 9.1 | Close Combat: First to Fight XBOX
This game reflects on how the marines fight and I must say It is very realistic.

You can send commands to your squad and you can also send snipers that you can send to kill people and other things like mortar strikes.
In a way it is similar to COD 2 which I also enjoy.

The graphics are nice, the environments look good with attention to detail and the character models are good looking as well. There are some minor issues with animation, floating guns and clipping but nothing you can't get over.

The sound is ok, not the strong point of the game, but absolutely passable. The environmental effects are actually quite nice, the voice acting could have been done better, it serves the purpose.

The gameplay is where the game shines. The controller is being used to the fullest extend and the controls soon become second nature, very intuitive.
The squad AI works extremely well, I never had a path finding issue. Orders are being followed, sometimes you need to position your squad mates correctly so they can follow a cover or suppress order, you can also order them to use mounted weapons.
The order and weapons menu will remind you of R6, at times you can call in support from snipers, mortar teams or gunships.
You can give orders to the team as a whole or set up your marines individually. Your team mates are very effective in covering their sectors. Your squad is really a lot of help and never a liability.
The enemy AI is generally good sometimes a little suicidal other times great in shooting at you and going behind cover.
You can kneel, go prone and lean or peek. You can also run but you can't shoot while running, it's meant to get from one cover to the next very fast preferably under cover fire from your squad or maybe even to draw fire.
Enemies can be arrested if they surrender. First aid kits are available for you and your squad, which may seem to some to detract from the realism but after all it's a game and it still has to be playable and not frustrating.
The game is deliberately paced, running and gunning will get you killed in a hurry.

All in all CC:FTF is a lot of fun, outdoor and indoor environments alternating, nice intense firefights and strategic elements, a classic example of a game that is more than the sum of it's parts. I say give this game a try, I sure am happy I did.
