CC fans Be warned! Nothing new here.

Sorry people, i am disappointed as all fans of the series would be. There is sadly nothing new but the sound effects. The graphics are definitely untouched. This is where 100% of this product's weakness is. Graphics are truly obsolete. Even roster screen is untouched. Gameplay is great however the interface is quite old-dated compared to nowadays designs. Right click on unit to display the commands menu then give the order and point. It was an excellent improvement for that time but it is a no-go today. Even there is no use for middle button generated for the mouse control.

The game uses extensive CPU usage rather than GPU, so this means LOS (Line of sight) follows still hesitant. There are still unsolved issues like Tanks turning and showing their sides to the enemy where it is more vulnerable with no reasons. They still rotate their turrets and stand still after firing a round to enemy where it surely turn their front for also keeping a low silhouette.

Sounds are greatly improved over the previous one. But still not perfect. Mortar explosion sounds are not realistic and ear irritating after awhile at first glance.

Multiplayer value is improved but it barely addresses me as i usually prefer single player campaigns rather than H2H battles.

I expected more from this release as being a big fan of CC series. For a 40 bucks, it doesnt worth it. i really expected more improvements And there is no grand campaign map as CC4 & CC5 offered. it is practically a little make-up applied CC3 .At least a couple of campaigns could be included such as western campaign, Poland 1939, even Africa to be in a single product. Although some of these campaigns are downloadable from server game addressed, (and it was doable back then either) this is not only hundreds of MBs to download but also tons of work to integrate them in the game considering not everyone is mod friendly users.
