Great addition to the arcade that is fun while it lasts, but maybe not worth the 800 point "price" tag.

User Rating: 8.3 | Cloning Clyde X360
Cloning Clyde is so far unlike just about every other game out on the Xbox Live Arcade right now...And it's a damn fun game to boot. It plays like a typical web flash game, but a very well put together one. It is a side scrolling puzzler, basically and the levels are all kinda repetitive on the surface, but every one is just different enough (especially near the end) to offer a little challange to clear everything and get in under par time.

Controls are pretty simple, the game does a good job at walking you through how things work. The only times I ran into trouble are when I mutated into the frog and had to jump...And there were a couple puzzles that require you to switch clone bodies on the fly (literally) and do some stuff, while not hard at all, it does require a few tries to get the timing and such right. This is more of a design issue than a control issue, I think...

The game is kinda short, I beat it in around 4-5 hours and got almost all of the extras except the par times. I still have a handful of the challange levels left, but those aren't all that difficult.

Achievements are pretty easy, as you don't really have to go out of your way for most of them. The only weird thing is that they are odd point values....Like 8, 12, 14, points etc...Not really a bad thing, but kinda odd nonetheless.

As the second offering of the Xbox Live Arcade Wednesdays, this is yet another solid release for the booming library. This is definitly a must for Arcade fans looking for something a little different...But at 800 points, it's hard to say if it's worth it...400 points would be a steal, but 800 just seems like a little too much money...
