Strong cut-scenes make this game shine on its way.
So everybody know what Clock Tower's are about. Escape from a crazy killer. This one has this element too, in fact, there are 4 assasins (well, 6, but meh), however only the two first ones will make you feel terror. In this game you kill the assasin with a magic bow...which is rare, but anyway.
The story of the game involves all assasins somehow in a plot that is not fascinating but well, it makes sense.
So to get to the point: The game starts great, with strong scenes that will make you tell: "Holy sh*t!!" a few times. The first two assasins playthrough is one of the most fun moments I have had in a videogame. After that, the story gets more attention and the assasins and terror less. So yeah, it's a mixed feeling... you wanna feel terror but the second part of the game is like watching Scary Movie.
Personally I prefer Clock Tower 1 and 2 (I have not played the snes one) cause although they have bad graphics, at least you have the constant pressure that something is gonna be behind that dooorr..... WAAAAAAAH!!
I you wanna feel terror or just having fun play CT 1 and 2. This is good but you can just watch videos of the cutscenes on youtube, that's the best thing of the game, really.
