Quite possibly the greatest game ever made.

Anybody who ever baught a NES has played this game. If you haven't then shame on you. This is probably the best you can get for the NES, hands down. This was the first game I ever played thus my bias towards it. The gameplay is the best out there for a sidescrolling adventure. It's rather straight forward since you only move in one direction and you jump on everything to kill it. (If you don't have a fireball flower that is.) The music may be repetitive for our modern day but back then and even now for some people it can easily get stuck in your head. I honestly can't see how anyone could not like this game unless they just didn't grow up with it as the majority of the gaming world has. All in all this is a must have for any self respecting "old-school" gamer.
