Cities in Motion User Review
Both intriguing and infuriating. Like a massive puzzle as soon as you solve one challenge, there is another waiting.

- "Grows on you"
To be honest I have never "beaten" this game. In other words I have yet to get an entire city running smoothly on mass transit. Its not through any lack of trying, but this game is one of the best examples of a "chain-reaction."Its easy to make obscene amounts of profits but as soon as all the networks start to "click," things quickly spiral out of control. I'm sure everyone knows what I'm talking about.
When ever this happens there are usually two reactions: I try to uncover the cause and fix the choke point; Or give up after just fixing 30 choke points and having more to do! This game just won't let me "win."
If you don't know what I'm talking about- it is how when large portions of the city start to have a connection via the transit system it makes it increasingly difficult to just keep from having 200+ people stuck at a bus stop (which will happen somewhere). And if you fix that choke point, the one right after it will get clogged, then the next, etc. Fixing these requires more planning, more head scratching, and eventually giving up.
I'm not good at solving puzzles and this game is one hell of a puzzle.

For those that miss the original sim city, this is a good gap stop.
