An excellent remake.
Chrono Trigger is a great game. It's a straightforward turn-based RPG with an immersive storyline and plenty of side quests. It also has serious replayability value, with multiple endings dependant on different factors. The new cutscenes are a bit meh, but the game is still very entertaining. The characters are interesting, particularly Frog, as a personal favourite, and the graphics aren't too dated, especially for a hand console. The ability to travel through time to alter events, whilst not new, is still very fun and interesting, and makes the game a little more challenging (and longer) than you would expect.
Every RPG fan should give this game a go.
