One of my favorite RPGs of all time, if you havn't played it, you are missing out on one of the greatest games ever made

User Rating: 10 | Chrono Cross (PSOne Books) PS
Even with the dawn of the new fun-boxes of 2006, I still find myself playing PS1 and N64, simply because they still have so many good games, and Chrono Cross is a perfect example of why everyone should continue to play their PS1 games. I recently got and beat the game and it is now one my favorite games ever made. The gameplay was very VERY good, gave me something new, but very cool, and easy to use, once you got the hang of it. It was al ittle difficult learning at first, but once you've got it, it turns into one of the best, if not the best RPG ever, its not just the same old turn-based RPG style game. With so many optinos to chose during the game, such as who to recruit, who to use (there are over 40 charcters, and without Continue +, non are available every game), and how to go about things is all fun. Considering that this is a PS1 game and i don't expect it to look the same as games coming out this fall, it has some of the best PS1 graphics I have seen. The music itself is probably the best music i have heard in any game to date, and I have played lots of games, and I still find this to be the best music ever in a video game. Sure, theres oter music easily defined as enjoyable, fits the mood, etc., but non that I can describe as Perfection as I can here. The story here is one of my favorite stories in any RPG, but it will make more sense and be more enjoyable if you've played at lest half-way through Chrono Trigger (Chrono Cross is its sequal), but the story is still good, even if you're not entirely sure whats going on, due to not having played Chrono Trigger. Considering that this game only cost me $20, i looked back and thought "Would i have payed $40 or $50 for it?" and my answer was yes. If you havn't played it, you are missing out on something truely spectacular here, so go find it or borrow it off a friend NOW!
