Good, solid FPS entertainment, albeit with somewhat cliché filled story line and characters.

Chrome is a rather underappreciated FPS game with a solid gameplay, and generally well-executed, but somewhat mediocre and seen-it-before storyline. I personally especially liked the large outdoor scenery, but this has also been a point of critisism of the game so it depends on whether you like walking/sneaking around in large outdoor levels and often avoiding, rather than confronting enemies, or you prefer more constant and direct action. All in all it is not a grand game, but it is a solid and reasonably entertaining science fiction FPS, and I must confess that despite certain shortcomings I liked the game better than the otherwise much celebrated HALO CE.
The one thing that annoyed me very much with HALO CE was the immensely boring and repetitive indoors levels in the middel to later part of the game. Chrome does also feature some repetitions of levels (which FPS does not ?), but not nearly as much as HALO CE. The AI of the enemies on the other hand, are not as good as that of HALO CE`s convenant forces, but it is still generally reasonably (but again not grand) challenging.
