The last one purged...
So, what we came out with in the last topic was that SS Invincible (with Grip ability) is the best character to use in time trial mode except in Vulcan'o Valley, Fantasia and FF VIII Circuit where the best character would be any 100-points customised character.
So time to discuss about the time trial mode again!

I've ripped out some good times on the first 5 courses so far. I'll need to get the others finished for recording.
SS Invincible is so fast, if you use dash, it actually SLOWS YOU DOWN. Funny.

Me and my mates play this game very often. Its our thing. We're pretty competitive and have decided to stick to a character to master him/her for our competitions hehe.
I'm mog, I like to be the underdog (no disrespect to Mr M.) but its always nicer winning when you're not even considered for the title.
Biggest challenge:
Winning Bahamut mode with Mog (Flap) - no handicap obviously. Its a damn challenge. Something I aspire to do one day.
Chocobo racing, top games def.

every time I see a "what game should be remade/continued" topic, CR is one of the first games that comes to mind..

Damn right. I'd buy a whole console if a new Chocobo racing came out on a new one. I don't think it is likely though. Chocobo racing to Square-Enix is dead and buried. Shame really.

Wow, there are people out there that like this game too? I thought everyone hated it. ^_^
I booted it up tonight and it's still as fun as it was in 1999. Graphically it's awful, but the magic system and the game engine itself are great.

Actually, the biggest challenge would be to win Bahamut mode using Jack! I don't care if you select easy tracks, use handicap, and/or select whatever ability you want... you still won't win in hundreds tries I'd bet!

It was such a good game! T_T
I remember playing it without getting bored. I used to play it with my friends and my little brother. No games had ever made me feel like that before.
You guys totally forgot about the music! The soundtrack is really wonderful and the ending song is miracle! The music is originally from FF series which I really love.
Treasure Chest of the Heart and Diamond In My Heart are my favorite.
If only they would remake CR or make a whole new one. I've been looking for a game like CR for ages, but I've found nothing. No racing game is even close to RC. What a shame people ignore this game.

Lol using jack in Bahmut class and win would be IMPOSSIBLE truly. At least the challenge I offered is plausible. I managed to win it a while ago but only because Bahamut and Squall weren't contenders. Toughest game of my life and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Nuoi you are right the soundtracks are great. Diamonds in my Heart is an amazing song. This game brings people together, we need a Chocobo Racing 2 to bring world peace!

Yeah, but I used CHARGE because it filled up more frequent than DASH!
