Pardon my messy looking review.. the paragraphing wasn't working for some odd reason.rnrnIf you're looking for a chance to roam the charred battlefields of the Middle Ages in a more personal approach then look no further. Chivalry: Medieval Warfare pits two teams of players against each other for various (and really fun) objectives including, Pillage the town (which includes killing the people of the town and throwing torches into their houses, Assassinating families of royalty, Pushing various carts/ battering rams up to key objectives to continue on with missions at hand. Keep in mind this is a multiplayer focused game so while you and your team attempts to accomplish these objectives, the other team is trying to stop you from doing so.. and sometimes it can be extremely challenging. There are also Team Death match, regular Death Match and Defending the King. These names aren't the actual modes they call them but You get the idea. The game requires you to be on point with your enemies movements. If you see their attacking with an overhead swing, you aim block above your head.. otherwise you will not block the attack. You can also feint (fake out) the baddies into thinking you're about to attack thus making them block too early. You can kick people to break their block if their wielding a shield or if the guy you're about to kick happens to be near a death defying fall or a wall of spikes, this is also a good option. All in all the pace of this game is what gets you hooked. It's fast pace, brutal due to the dismemberment's and blood curdling screams of dieing players. After you play through the single player tutorials and you jump into a match.. you can see where you went wrong if you are killed. This is also said when you kill another player because you see where he went wrong and then you build up your tactics from there. All in all I feel that Chivalry: Medieval Warfare is an all out great title for those patient enough to learn this new curve that Torn banner has put out for us. The game is only $25.00 and for that price you can't go wrong. There's more features I haven't even listed in here that make the game awesome but I decided to leave those of you who have read my review, curious. Support this team and buy a copy for yourself and or get the $75.00 one and get three copies plus a fourth one free.
