Chicken Run is the video game version of the popular movie, in which the fowl heroes must escape from a poultry farm before they're turned into a value meal.

Eidos has announced that it will publish a series of games based on the recent film Chicken Run. The first title, which will be developed by Blitz Games, will follow the course of the Aardman Animations and Dream Works SKG coproduced film.

Chicken Run takes place on an English poultry farm, from which the brave fowl attempt to gain their freedom. The film has been described as a tribute to the WWII classic The Great Escape, and it features the voice talents of stars such as Mel Gibson, Jane Horrocks, and Miranda Richardson.

While there isn't a terribly large amount of information on the actual game at this point, versions for the PlayStation, Dreamcast, and PC platforms have been officially announced. We'll keep on top of this one, at any rate, so turn to us for the latest info.
