10 to 20 Hours
The Bottom Line:
"Best in series"
After playing it a lot, I can say this game (or chess program if you like) really rocks! it doesn't add many things to the previous chessmaster game in complex, but the new "king" engine is great, it supports multy processors and hyper threading processes, in order to optimize the whole game!
The ranked matches offer you a better chance to improve your play 'cause the cpu opponents are better balanced and you can always find the very right opponent for you.
This game is in the end a good successor of the beautiful Chessmaster 10th edition, so... you like chess? don't waste your time and go get it!!
With the latest patch the game runs clear and the online matches are the best ever, if you have the 10th edition and want to upgrade, it's worth your money and if you haven't ever played chess before and you wanna learn, this definitely is the best game for you with tutorials and all types of help about how to play.

  5. Little new content since 10th edition; but for $20 it is worthwhile for those interested in new Academy material.
