Good for offline play but terrible if your looking to play this game online!!

User Rating: 7.5 | Chessmaster: Grandmaster Edition PC
The gameplay is actually very good. Especially the graphics and the difficulty. You can face the easy and the very hard one, it is just suited for everyone for babies till adults :D
The animated chess sets are a bit confusing and are of limited choice. You have hundreds of oppoents to face which is very good and enjoyable.

And also the other good thing about it is that it will run on your over 5 year old PC!! This game runs on my 5 year plus laptop that has only an ATI Radeon 7500 which is obviously an ancient card but it runs it perfectly and the graphics are identically good as on my Quad-Core PC.
Anyways this isn't really a video game since it doesn't require you thick riq.

The bad side of it is that sometimes the opponent fails to move the piece, there are many bugs. UBI have failed to release latest patches which is very disappointing. This game is great for single play but terrible for online.
The online system is a disgrace. You would be lucky to find one opponent online! And someitmes you can't connect because the play button is greyed out.
The other problem ofcourse is that if you win the match your rating does not increase, it stays the same! It will only decrease when you lose. St the beginning in Till March 2008 I never had problems after that date problems began! I bought the game from day one of release. Your stats do count when you win though but not your rating sadly. Only offline against the computer theres no problem.
If your into online look elsewhere perhaps Fritz 11 or other online internet chess sites such is FICS.
