all these people that are saying dante or ryu should win based on who's stronger are retards. These are cartoons, i came here once a week just to see which characters people like more.... because that's what this is about...

Dante fighted tha Savior(while fighting he was even having fun!!!)!The savior was like 200 metres high,he had magical support,he was protected by angels and was builded by a undestructible material!!!!Could RYU even survive 10 second's against that???

Are you guys serious?! Ryu would never beat Dante; he can be as good a vet as he can be, but he must get up-close to be able to beat Dante, and even then, Dante would greet him with either with his guns or his sword. Also, Dante survived being stabbed right through his heart 4 times by his own sword; I wanna see Ryu do that.

I love both ryu and dante. But when it comes to personality i like dante more. He has more depth to his character than ryu.

Guys.. only Ryu/Ken has the hadouken/hadoushoryu which is powerful enough to explode an island, Dante wouldn't even have time to know how he died. *I saw the Street Fighter Anime XD and even if DMC had a cartoon I doubt they would make Dante so godly. Besides, I really like DMC4, pretty tight game. :)
