I'm starting to run out of games to play the only thing that came out this week was mass effect 2, which i will review later but as of right now I had nothing better to play but the title chaotic. Now I went into this game not no any sort of background story about the characters or creatures and the game was no help in explaining any thing to me. Apparently it is one of those kid t.v. shows and card game combo, in the ways of yugioo(spelled wrong) and pokemon. Being a fan of pokemon I was not going to judge this based on the vast amount of these clones that come out today. Essentially there is two types of games you play. One is more based on tv show I guess where you run around as a 13(or so he looks)boy and use a flame thrower to blast away various bugs in someplace called otherworld, overworld, usuall. You also encounter these various humanoid creatures which you skip to some cut scene to where unless your familar with the series have no idea what there talking about. These creatures seem to resemble various animals such as a panther, bull, cheeta, etc. After you get past the boring puzzels and enemies you randomley enter the main feature of the game, the battles. These I assume are based off the card games you have up to five creatures, at first you start off with one until furter in the story, and you different attaks, mugic("yeah creative right"), music(other spells), and taunt. each time you do a attack your asked to prompt some commands like aaa or axb pretty simple really, then for music you use the joystick to go along with the lullaby that sounds, kinda like a coriographer. While the enemy attack your giving 2 choices either block the enemies attack which is just repedentley pressing b or scanning which requires you to use you joystick and control a little circle and keep it inside a big circle while its moving around the screen(more of a wii feature im sure). thats pretty much it game is not really complex at all, well at least as far as I got which was about a quarter of the way through the game. The creatures have various elements kinda like pokemon, yet I think it was only 3, they also have the various stats and junk. Anyway the game I think was really more for young fans of the series and not hardcore gamers, if you want around 200 easy achievement points along and some mild fun go for it. I give it a 5.9 out of 10.
