It is better than the original Dark Alliance and its repetitiveness just doesn't seem get old.

One of my favorite games that I have ever played. Its the core gameplay and the aspect of building your very own warrior from a large variety of customizable options. First picking your character from one of the five classes who all have there own skills and special abilities and then being able to select which abilities you want to max out allows the player to make a unique character even if they pick the same class. That along with being able to add on skills and abilities to your weapons and armor make the gameplay very enjoyable. Without this customization system the tedious task of running through level and hacking everything to bits would get boring. Don't get me wrong the combat is fun, but only because you can chose your abilities and attack style.

As for the other aspects of the game the graphics are good with lush environments and the sound is great. The only fault with the game is he lack of any coherent storyline. You start off defending the elven forrest, but then end up in the underworld, a deserted island, and even a desert somewhere. The locations seem so distant and odd that you forget what you are fighting for. It's not a big complaint, but if your character had more involvement in the storyline and more personality I think it would make for a better experience.
