At once both a throwback to classic 2D action platformers and also the potential future of the genre, Cave Story 3D blends tight controls, superb level design, and excellent story and presentation to deliver a memorable, addicting retro experience! Cave Story 3D will be a side scrolling shooter in a 3D environment. The player must survive against a variety of enemies and environmental hazards. Later in the game, many challenges are derived from navigating through these hazards with limited fight ability. The levels are also often not strictly linear.
