Castlevania on the Nes is one of the consoles best games, but it is also near impossible to beat. You must play as simon and stop the evil in castlevania. Bats, lions, zombies, and hazards come in your way to accomplish it, except you have a sweet whip. You can also use it to get candles, which have hearts and weapons for you to use.

The graphics are impressive, with gloomy graphics and characters that can creep you out. Don't be too afraid, or you'll run out of time. The music is moody and beautiful.

Beating Castlevania means doing a lot of playing. I can't even get past the first level. The bosses are absolute challenges, even worse than Ninja Gaiden. Stairs can be hard to conquer; hold up while walking to go upstairs and down to go downstairs. Watch out for Lions, or else your a snack.

Although Very very hard, Castlevania is also very very fun. The moody atmosphere and addicting gameplay add up to this great Konami classic. This is your game for challenges all around on the Nes, if you haven't played Battletoads.
