This has to be the ultimate vampire series ever. There were of course some titles that came out which weren't too great but this one started them all. The music in this game was captivating and the graphics were revolutionary for their time. As Simon the point was to storm the Counts castle and slay the head honcho himself. Along the way you work your way through the castle and make your way to the spire. I remember having such a tough time with the Frankenstein boss because of the little hunchback guy that jumps around so much. There are times when the controls are a bit frustrating because of the mechanics of the game. If you tried to jump from one place to another and were hit mid way Simon would drop like a ton of bricks. That could get pretty frustrating at times but along the way learning to use secondary weapons would really come in handy.
