The cloaked knights drop the heaven sword in the inverted gear rooms. Go nuts and slice them up searching for one!

I did, it took me maybe 4 tries to beat them. They're kind of tough IMO.

Me neither. I keep hoping for a miracle and some luck but... nope, Konami makes my ass work hard for the precious goodies.

They know that you never bought the other Silent Hill games.

Heh, and as for me, I guess they know I never legitimately bought their old games like TwinBee. Thank you bootleg cart...

Well good thing it's not a requirement to complete some of Konami's older games on the NES because then I'd be a fecal patty out of luck :p

I think a lot of people would be unable to play modern Konami games if playing the old ones were somehow required, under penalty of forcing you to have horrible luck.

never? not even once? those hidden weapons are there, waiting for you. waiting like a fox ready to leap onto a rabbit p

Usually you need to know which monster to attack to get the weapon and then have tons of patience while you wait for it to drop.

like the brilliant Tom Petty song "you wreck me baby, yes you do!" which has absolutely no relation to this game or anything resembling video games.
  • Oct 26, 2011 12:41 pm GMT
Until it's used in a video game, which it must someday.

I insist, along with the rest of the album (called Wildflowers). that thing is delightful the entire way through :p

In that case, they should make a game where you play as Tom Petty, saving the world with your music! It's kind of like Michael Jackson's Moonwalker but less creepy.

or maybe creepier since, let's be honest, Tom Petty has one ugly-ass face!

They'd have to make in the old 16-bit style just like Moonwalker then. The pixels will spare us that ugly mug!

LOL! I never knew how lovely pixels can be!

    I won't lie. I died to them.

But to be fair, it was my first time ever playing the game and I didn't know what to expect and was still getting used to it at the time. Before that first time, I had only ever played one or two Castlevania games and I don't think I beat them either.

But from that point on, I was hooked on that game and it grew to be one of my favorite games of all times, amongst others.

Heh, when they're protecting us from that kind of ugliness, they are the best!
