What Gamespot Users have to say about Castlevania: Lords of Shadow

Short but a sweet return to Castlevania.

After the events of LOS and after losing everything he ever loved, Gabriel finds himself stood atop of the cliff contemplating his fate after his "hollow" victory over the Lords of Shadow. That is until the voice of the... Read Full Review

    What a disgrace!

After all this time THIS is what we get!??! 10 bucks for a half an hour gameplay of frustrating trial and error platforming and the most idiotic, infuriating boss battle I had a misfortune to experience in the past decad... Read Full Review

Way to destroy the good name of LoS. (Spoilers)

In the past couple months I played Castlevania Lords of Shadow and I loved it, it was truly a spectacular and fantastic game. The graphics were good, the controls were good, and the story was particularly gripping. Whe... Read Full Review

A great climactic boss encounter feels a bit awkward standing alone.

Castlevania: Resurrection is the second and apparently final downloadable addition to last year's underappreciated Castlevania: Lords of Shadow (LOS). It follows up where Reverie left off, Gabriel Belmont; our soul-torn... Read Full Review

One of the most challenging games I've ever played that I've beaten.

I have been looking forward to this DLC since it was announced. I have not had high expectation due to the lower preview out there. Even at the time of writting this review Gamespot has not been reviewed it yet consideri... Read Full Review

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow was a game I pegged as my personal favorite of 2010 because of how it successfully blended a multitude of different genres into a satisfying, visceral gameplay experience unlike any other. I... Read Full Review

It made me dislike the Game a bit.

I had a bad feeling when purchasing the DLC of Castlevania when i read that it was a mission from Camilla's daughter that spared Gabriel in the original game. Well... The whole Chapter is a bit of a long boss fight you c... Read Full Review

I don't think the original developers did this. Would be hard to believe.

Firstly you can beat it with in 30 minutes(that's counting the times you die) Secondly it is a pretty horrible way to display scenes in the game, especially a game like this one that had all the dramatic elements in t... Read Full Review

Average content for a great game.

After going through both Downloadable Content packages for Castlevania Lords of Shadow and getting 100% trophies/achievements in the game, I turned to write a review for each DLC having played both packages twice. I wait... Read Full Review

Here is my review for the second DLC for Castlevania: Lords of Shadow. I listed things pertaining to both DLCs first and then I started the review for Resurrection. These lines are more to mark a difference between the t... Read Full Review
