I enjoyed the demo, but I cancelled my pre-order on Amazon

All this negative feedback people are giving it made me question my purchase, as stupid as that may sound. Maybe when I have the full game it will start to feel mediocre and it won't be worth the $40 plus shipping. I guess it's best to wait for some reviews, I trust critic reviews more than the consumer's biased opinions. Reviews can be biased too but at least they don't give 1's just because they're disappointed with a game.

If you were having any doubts i don't see why you pre ordered in the first place.
You must not have been too worried about how it would turn out if you ran out and pre ordered before playing it.

Reviews are all over the place, from 4.7 to a 8. This isn't one of those games where you can depend on someone else to make your decision for you. If you liked the demo, which was an E3 build you'll probably like the full game. But I'm not judging you, I'll applaud you if you wait for a price drop and still get the game, like a amazon sale or something. Spring break is coming up and most stores WILL do a Spring sale.

I don't know what "negative feedback" you're talking about unless you mean IGN, but okay.
I love Castlevania, I loved Lords of Shadow, and I loved the demo for MoF.
Preorder stayed, excited to receive it in the mail.

More like 6 to 9.2.
IGN and a place I've never heard of called Gamesbeat are the only bad reviews so far, and then like 2 or 3 6's (which aren't bad, but I know the world decided it is) and then it's mostly 8's from there with a few 7's and 9's thrown in.
As far as scores go, it's been fine. Haven't read the actual reviews though, just IGN's.

Game Informer gave it 8.5. The only negatives they mention are to little time with each character, and a few and far between zones where the camera is a little too zoomed out<.< Saw the first one a mile away, but since they share the same main moves it should not be to bad.

I will definitely be buying it and was going to buy it either way, just not right now. I was desperate to have something to play at the moment but I have other games to play and I can wait for a better price for now.
By the way this was posted before all the reviews were released. I've loved plenty of 7-8/10 games so I have no fear of this being a mediocre game.
I'm really surprised IGN of all reviewers gave it the lowest score, they're usually the most generous. It all depends on who's reviewing the game, which is why I dislike when people call all of IGN IGNorant.
