First off before I say anything, ill say this, LoS timeline has nothing to do with the original CV timeline EVEN tho ppl may have the same name it NOT the same person from the original CV timeline. So that being said MoF seems to be the retelling of the series through the LoS timeline so until it is played its not likely we can really say who is who for now. Ive looked over the art and i can conferm that without a doubt that two of the characters do resemble Simon and Richter as for the others i cant really say.

Richter? There's been no mention whatsoever about him in the LoS universe and Im inclined to say he will not appear. But its already been confirmed time and time again that Simon will both appear and be playable in MoF, man!

Going to the Alucard page I noticed that is says "It seems fate has given me a second chance... father." Does that mean Trevor may become Alucard?

That is the popular theory. I personally subscribe to it, but am not sure, because Alucard's whip in Mirror of Fate is "not" a Combat Cross, while Trevors is, which I find weird, since Trevor's still exists in Simon's time....

So Trevor is Gabriel's son,

Simon is Trevor's son

Since Alucard called Gabriel Father could mean that Trevor will become Alucard.

So may be when trevor didn't go home, Simon looked for him when he grew up.
Simon found Trevor in the castle and they both fought Dracula. Dracula killed trevor not knowing trevor is his son. but he found out that trevor is his son so he turned him in to vampire and he became Alucard. just my 2 cents.

This is why I love Castlevania there's so much lore in it. Not only that you play as a vampire (alucard) or vampire hunter. plus you get to explore dracula's castle. (I love history, I love vampires -except ****in twilight- I love vampires that has fangs and could turn in to wolf, mist, or bat; not sparkle.)

When I got my PSN My first game was blood omen, and I was so happy because I am playing as a vampire, then PS2 came out and I played legacy of kain soul reaver, now this. Konami I <3 you. You revived my love for Vampire stories. Not twilight Saga that destroyed everyones view for vampires.)
