Anyone know the passcode algorithm for CV3?

I suck at reading assembly and I don't even know if I cracked it to the right CPU address. So has anyone else yet found the algorithm CV3 used for the password screen?

I think somebody has done it, if I recall correctly. I know that I took a crack at it many years ago, after seeing the piece of paper I wrote down many passwords on, and wondering whether or not I could find a pattern in them.
