The darkhorse of the series is fantastic

Behind it's terrible grammar is a game that still has that same Castlevania experience even though it's terribly flawed!

Different from the rest of the series

Castlevania II: Simon's quest is a great sequel to the original, despite some irritating flaws.

And you, Simon Belmont, will always be remembered for your bravery and courage.

When it seems the job is done, a wounded and weary Simon learns there is still work to be done.

I thought it was fine.

So just where do I begin...

Just cause its different doesn't make it bad I'm talking to you fanboys out there!

Classic Castlevania game I missed the first time around

CRAP!!!

Simon's Quest is worth a download on the virtual console for Castlevania fans. A lot more so than the original.

Although it can be a bit punishing at times it's still a great Castlevania game with a RPG twist.

Horrible, boring, and incredibly lame.

An excellent game that gamespot really doesn't appreciate. However I must admit I had to use a walkthrough for this one.

A true classic whos game design has seen many iterations in recent Castlevania games.

This game trades mission-based gameplay for more exploration just like modern Castlevanias and it works

Castlevania fans could do worse, and old school gamers with a streak of nostalgia will find here an old friend.

One of the most underappreciated games of all time and a deserving sequel.

Castlevania was a cake walk compared to this bloody curse.
