Greg Mueller gives his take on Castlevania's first foray onto a modern handheld.
Castleroid? Is that like a case of hemorrhoids you get from playing Castlevania games? It's called "METROIDVANIA".
Also, telling me that special powers come in handy is kind of redundant.

Agreed. That term is tired as Hell.
And Castlevania does quite a bit to set itself apart. I own and love all the DS and GBA Castlevanias. The Mega Man Zeros and ZXes as well.
I just picked this game up two days ago and I LOVE it! This is the first castlevania game I ever owned and... well... I feel like I missed out during my childhood. Still I love this game; and I'm only in the very beginning!
Ive never tried castlevania before because it dosent seem like my type of game, but Im seriuosly considering this one.
wtf.. another game that make me wish to have a nDs..
I just picked this up because my ps3 died and I have nothing else to play... So far so good, but it doesn't compare to Symphony of the night!
I've never played a Castlevania game, but really want to after watching a few reviews of them now....
This review felt like a freshman year high school book report. Poorly constructed sentences and a monotonous reader.
Awesome game, although not quite as good as Order of Ecclesia or Symphony of the Night.
LOL, did they make the reviewer of the sequel have the same on purpose? :P
nate1222, I totally agree. Those are my 3 Castlevania games, and I'm disappointed that Bloodlines hasn't come to the VC yet.
I own all 3 Castlevanias on DS and none of them Disappoint. I still own and play Symphony Of The Night (PS1) and Super Castlevania 4 (SNES). It'd be cool if they brought back Bloodlines (Genisis), as well.
same here same here what happened to greg i dont see him interview OOE
