The game is short, but it offers enough to satisfy your Dracula hunting gaming.

:Good Idea:
· There's a lot of impressive monsters to fight, most which are even harder than the bosses. Every boss brought it's fair share of challenges to the table, and some even seeming almost downright impossible (after getting to him with one life bar).
· The graphics are pretty incredible for an older 16-bit game. There's a ton of cool background art and a lot of illusional 3D graphics. One of the cooler stages is the red dragon that trys to slap you with his tail.
· Really creative gameplay. A lot of platform jumping mixed with whipping your crack against the skull of a skeleton warrior or gargoyle.

:Bad Idea:
· Well, frankly, the thing I didn't really like about the game is the fact that it's extremely short. I basically beat this during work in a few hours.
· Weapons are limited to only a few. I think it has just as many as the originals from the NES days.
· Although the game is fairly hard, the game suffers from one thing: lack of puzzle during a boss battle. It's a bit too easy to find the weak points of the bosses, making the game a tad bit easier than I thought it would be.

:Overall:
· Despite being short, this is a pretty awesome game; an overall great game for the Genesis. A must for any Castlevania fan. Just don't expect to be playing for hours upon hours.
