Have to play as both characters to fully enjoy this Title

I am sure everyone was as anxious as I was when the news of an N64 Castlevania hit the streets, i was a fan from the Vampire Killer days, and was very anxious to see what the N64 version could do, I was a great fan of the second installment on the NES, Simon's Quest and was hoping for a more explorational experience, this was not the case, the game instead stays true to its platform roots and trys to add a new dimension to the Castlevania Universe, it even uses a few backdrop references, such as Wallachia, known to many who read the Bram Stoker Novel Dracula.

The Game sticks to the story and once again Dracula is about to rise to cause havoc, it is up to our heroes Reinhardt Schneider and Carrie Fernandez to save the day.

The problem with this Castlevania is that it crammed too much story and not enough game play, I found myself finishing the game on the same day I had bought it, the real hidden value is found in the replay value, once I had beaten it with Reinhardt Schneider, I had to choose Carrie Fernandez just to see what the character was like, I was amazed at the fact that they had two completely different routes, alright perhaps they are only three levels that differ it still shows some originality.
