says Carrie Fernandez, an orphan with magical powers, before she ventures into the woods of Transylvania. You'll defeat countless enemies, defeat some tough bosses and wonder through very impressive levels before going head to head with the darl lord himself...Dracula. The music is great and there is very little talk due to the limits of the system but this actually improves the game. the graphics are n64-fuzzy and there is a lot of mist in some levels but this is made up for by nice character-design and a great variety in gameplay. if there was one thing i didn't like about it, it was the bit of backtracking in the center part of the castle. Everything that makes a great Castlevania-game is present here...holy water, Mr. Death, platform-action, Frankenstein's monster and a lot of vampires.
Aside from Carrie you can also play as Belmont-heir Rheinhard Schneider. His journey takes you to some new levels. It's a good thing that Rheinhard is a real hero and not some kind of girlie-like-whatever you see in all those playstation-versions.
This is my favourite Castlevania.
