Amazing Role playing game based on Norse Mythology.
At first i thought that this game ended with me reading the parchment at the last level in the caves under the mountains, but to my surprise, I got to go to another town which was more porsche. I got to fight newer monsters like manticores (Which were a real challenge). At the last level I had to avenge the death of my father by slaying the hill giant Hrungnir. It was cool to use the balls here as they bounced off the four ogres and Hrungnir himself. You need to apply weakness for his being hill type and I think thunder ball worked very well against them. I killed him and got the Aumlet of Kings which will unlock you to the next game in the series where you battle Surtur.
I liked the inventory section very much, it was long before Age of Empires and other revolutionary games came into existance, so i came to admire this interactive game.
Technically speaking, the graphics is ordinary. The animation is given to you in the form of descriptive text messages, so it is left to your imagination how the fight proceeds. There is not much sound either so it doesnt distract you from gaming freely. Epic games have put all the value in the gmae or rather Story line. This is one of the good games which have a cool story line of battle, blood and revenge!
