Pretty much everthing that's good about Street Fighter and all it's clones is right here. Get it.

Ok, so you've been playing Street Fighter for about 15 years now. Why get this? Well because this takes all the tweaks, refinements and variations that have been done with the genre, and puts them into one complete, polished, glorious package.

First off, the roster. All the genre heavyweights are here like Ryu, Iori, and Terry, but there are a few we haven't seen for a while (And more than likely never will again). Though it would have been nice to see more from the likes of Darkstalkers and The Last Blade, it's hard to complain when you've got nearly 50 characters to choose from.

The gameplay is top notch. Everthing is here. The parrys, tumbles, dodges, level 3 super moves, everything. You can get through with just the basics but you'd be missing half the fun.

I do have a few complaints. The 3D backgrounds look nice but seem inconsistent when you have 2D characters. Also the announcer is anoying, and the music is inapropriatly up-beat. But these are minor quips that honestly do not affect the gameplay at all.

The bottom line is, if you enjoy 2D fighers, you have no excuse for not owning Capcom vs. SNK 2. And if by some chance you're new to the genre, this is a perfect place to start.
