The Versatile Ratio/team Fighter that keeps you wanting more.... Best fighting game in the early millenium. Hands-down.

User Rating: 8.5 | Capcom vs. SNK 2: Millionaire Fighting 2001 (PlayStation 2 the Best) PS2
If you grew up playing the classical fighters from SNK and Capcom, you'll be very familar with the frequent action, of button pressed and half motion directional special techniques execution.... This is a improvement over the first CVS for the PlayStation one. The graphical improvments, the sounds especially are greatly refelctive upon the Playstation 2 powerhouse processor. If there would be any closer arcade translation, it would be Dreamcast's version.(Unfortunately Dreamcast retired in the early turn of the millenia). The sheer quality of gameply, the execution of differrent (Grooves) will either help or hinder your specifed character. Yet, if you can unlock the boss characters' (Ultimate Rugal and Shin Akuma). Utilizing any Groove for eitrher of them is no real advantage b/c they are extremely powerful and their supers are devestating ever on a ratio 1 level. The great line-up of the characters of the two publishers with some old school characters 40 + characters which includes some of the best unlockable chacters (Evil Ryu and Riot Iori). The only thing that takes away from the game are some imbalances among charters and some spam character's (i.e. Chong and Chang from KOF 94) seem to makes thing a bit frenzied yet overall gameplay keeps you wanting more. That's company's like Elecbyte made Mugen sprite based video game fighting emulation which brings seriously hardcore character's to the extreme brawl mixing uo with ever fighter possible if you can fide the ".def" file compatible with the Mugen PC application. Cvs 2 is more than a typical team fighter. Seriously, if you ever were to start playing any fighting game you should definately p/u this enjoyable fighter. For it's time, CVS2 was one of the most solid fighters worthly to earn the "Mark of the Millenium". (/\/\)
