With such a name, you tend to expect so many things! But it is a missed chance...

I am one of those Capcom fighting game fans, so when i first heard about the launch of this game, all of my hopes came to my mind: will this be the ultimate 2D fighting game? will it reunite all the possible roster of characters, mixed in a well balanced fighting system? the biggest hope: WILL ALL THE CHARACTERS LOOK LIKE THEY CAME FROM THE SAME GAME, WITH NO COLORING AND MODELLING DIFFERENCES? the answer of all of those questions was one: no :(

Don´t know if you agree with me, but i found specially annoying when the characters look like they were directly taken from the original games with no adaptation! that looks like a collage you know? is that really hard to make standard drawings? i mean: if the characters came from different games obviously look different! is really that hard to re-draw them all, in order to make them look standardized?

The game has the control response we all know from other Capcom fighting games: very correct and quick. The music is well recorded, but it has no impact (reference: Street Fighter Alpha 3 soundtrack! man, that was an OST!)

The graphics are good, with bright colors and sharp lines almost always (except in the case of the Street Fighter Alpha characters, that look pixelated)

In conclusion, a game for hardcore, extremely hardcore fans! y played it all, unlocked the extra characters Ingrid, Pyron and Shin Akuma and that´s it. As Gamespot´s wise review said, there is no point in coming back :s
