E3 06: Capcom Classics Mini Mix Hands-On
Capcom brings two NES games you'd want to play and one you probably wouldn't to the Game Boy Advance.
LOS ANGELES--The show floor at E3 2006 is very, very slim when it comes to releases for the Game Boy Advance. Capcom is showing one of the few new GBA games here at the show, Capcom Classics Mini Mix. It's an NES compilation with three different games on it: Strider, Bionic Commando, and Mighty Final Fight.
From what we saw of the package, the NES emulation looks pretty complete. Plus, Strider and Bionic Commando are both NES classics. Mighty Final Fight? Not so much. But hey, two out of three ain't bad. The game controls are just fine, so if you're a fan of any of these NES games, and you're still looking for GBA games, this one might very well be your favorite game of the year. Perhaps not.
Anyway, Mini Mix is scheduled to ship in the third quarter of this year.
Why not put Double Dragons instead of Final Fight? I would buy it in a heart beat if it had that game. Oh the memories......
I might get this just so I can shoot Hitler in the face in Bionic Commando :)
very impressive
Mighty Final Fight is a great game. Better than both Strider and Bionic Commando IMO.
meh... it looks ok, but the most ill spend is maybe 15 bucks.
