Bombs away.

User Rating: 7.1 | Canyon Bomber 2600
This was a rather strange game for the Atari because it used the paddle control.

Gameplay was pretty easy. You were either just hitting the fire button and trying to "bomb" more stuff then your opponent. The paddle controller was mainly used for the fire button. However on some levels you would use the knob to adjust the level at which the "bombs" would explode.

Graphics standard Atari graphics.

Sound just some bleeps and bloops.

Value for this game is kind of high. A two player game was always a good game for the Atari. Replay value because of the second player option makes this game a must own for your collection.

Tilt: Canyon bomber had a feel of being like the arcade game breakout. In some of the levels you would have to blast and clear a canyon that closely resembled a breakout level. The only difference was that your "bomb" did not bounce back to you. Also the sea battles felt the same way. Overall though this was a decent game and it was fun to play even after you mastered it.
